STUDENT MINISTRIES BBQ & WORSHIP BAND!: Student Ministries continues to raise funds for summer camp and the mission trip to West Virginia in July! Please come to our BBQ & Worship Band night on Wednesday, June 28th, at 6:00 PM. Bring a side dish or dessert and any donation you are able to give—the meat and drinks are provided for you! SUNSATIONAL! WHO? THE SUNSATIONS, OF COURSE!: The Apple Valley High School Sunsations will make their yearly appearance to entertain the Voyagers at the May 21st meeting. Come to our potluck at 6:00 PM with your table service and an entrée, salad or dessert. As a special treat, their director tells us the music will come from the 40’s and 50’s!

HANDICAP MINISTRY TEAM: Anyone interested in becoming supportive to the needs of all handicapped people, please come and join us. Help the Handicap Ministry Team, May 20th, at 7:00 PM. We will be meeting in the conference room at Desert Knolls Convalescent Hospital, 14973 Hesperia Road, Victorville.

MEMORIAL DAY OPPORTUNITY: Campus Crusade is offering a way to reach out to America’s soldiers, especially those serving in the war zone. They are distributing Rapid Deployment Kits consisting of a New Testament, ‘Our Daily Bread’ for Soldiers and a booklet explaining how to know God personally. Each kit costs just $3.25. The Missions Team would like to offer COV the opportunity to participate on each of our patriotic days for the next three months—Memorial Day in May, Flag Day in June, and the 4th of July. We will have baskets available in the foyer before and after church next Sunday. Each of these kits offers service members a message of real hope and certainty even in the face of the most difficult situations. This is a great way to celebrate Memorial Day!
