Making Disciples

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matt. 28:19-20

We are called by Jesus as His disciples to make disciples of others and share the Gospel with others.

We want to support and encourage you in your journey as a follower of Jesus Christ and understand the value of getting together in fellowship around God's Word, in service to others and in prayer.

Anytime is a great time for you to get connected here at COV.

Below you will find how to take the next step and become a covenant partner as well as information on ongoing Bible Study Groups.

  BECOME A COVENANT PARTNER:

When you decide you want to find out what it means to be a member of our church,
we invite you to attend a one-morning orientation led by a Pastor here at COV. We will discuss the core values and beliefs of COV so you will know what is expected of a member. The seminar begins with sharing the benefits and responsibilities of our commitment to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We then discuss the history, government, ministries and outreach efforts of COV. We consider everyone who takes this serious yet joyful step of becoming a member of COV to also be a minister and missionary of COV. Attending the seminar does not mean you have to join; only that you get the information you need to make this important decision. Attendees of the seminar who choose to enter into Church membership are welcomed during a special time at one of our worship services. Getting Started Indicate on the weekly Welcome Card that you are interested in "Joining Church of the Valley" and we will follow up with you when a new seminar can be formed.
