Crisis Ministry

Our Crisis Ministry serve those in the surrounding community who are in need of food, clothing and Spiritual encouragement. Crisis Ministry assist family 6 times in a calendar year. Crisis Ministry also has a supply of portable food and provides blankets and coats (while supplies last) during the cold season.

To obtain assistance, a representative from the household must come to the Crisis Ministry in person and have a drivers licences or state id in their possession. Arrive 30 minutes prior to closing. If you have questions call 760-503-7024.

Crisis Ministry is now providing Free Showers every
Friday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM in front of the Crisis Ministry Building. 

English as a second language (esl)

English as a Second Laguage (ESL) exists to serve those in our surrounding community that desire to learn English in a supportive enviroment.

ESL take place here at COV on Wednesdays at 9:00 AM in various room on our campus.

dorcas SOCIETY ministry

Dorcas Soceity ministry hand crafts knitted and crocheted items to donate to Mose House and Rose of Sharon. Cold weather iteam are also provided to our Crisis ministrys.

Dorcas Soceity meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 1:30 PM in the Library. (Hansen Hall)

Christians Encountering Challenges

CEC provides an encouraging environment for those who are living with physical disabilities.

The group offers support and friendship the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM in Room 1A.

Rummage SAle

One weekend in the spring and in the fall, the church hosts a semi-annual Rummage Sale and it is huge!
Over two acres of wonderful bargains from appliances to shoes and clothing, from exercise equipment to household goods.  

The Rummage Sale opens on Friday from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM through Saturday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Supporting the Rummage Sale means supporting our local and global outreach programs, missionaries and ministries. There are three ways to support the
Rummage Sale:

1) Shop the Rummage Sale.

2) Donate to the Rummage Sale - drop off rummage donations during our Rummage Sorting Party days which, generally, are the first and third Monday of each month from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. For more information email Rummage at rummage@churchofthevalley.net.

Grief Support

Grief Care provides a safe place to work through the emotional and relationship turmoils of losing a loved one. COV offers this weekly support group Wednesdays at 3:00 PM Contact church office for more information at
